On May 17, Henan Vocational College of Agriculture (河南农业职业学院) held a report meeting of the theoretic study center group (expanded) of the party committee regarding the thematic education of the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era at the 4104 lecture hall. The report meeting was presided over by Liu Yuan (刘源), president of the college, and attended by middle-level and above cadres of the college. Professor Zhong Detao (仲德涛) from the Henan Provincial Party School was invited as a special guest to give a report titled Accelerating the Construction of a New Development Paradigm and Focusing on Promoting High-quality Development (《加快构建新发展格局，着力推动高质量发展》).

Liu Yuan proposed three requirements to achieve deep and effective thematic education of the study and implementation of the of Xi Jinping Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in our college. Firstly, the college should cultivate a serious attitude in the school and convey the gist of the Party conferences in a timely manner, continuously promoting Xi Jinping Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into the classrooms, textbooks, and everyone’s minds. Secondly, the college should adhere to the policy that leaders set examples and others follow, and conduct thematic education and other related work steadily and strictly. Leaders and cadres should play an exemplary role and remain committed to the theoretical study, so that the learning quality and effect can be guaranteed. Thirdly, the college should combine study with practice, focusing on thematic studies as well as applying theories to promote the work of the college center. To think, apply, and practice in learning will continuously improve the efficiency of service work, turning the knowledge gained into a powerful driving force for work and entrepreneurship.

Zhong Detao (仲德涛) gave a brilliant report on the background, principles, and strategic priorities of building a new development paradigm and promoting high-quality development. His presentation was rich in content, detailed in data, clear in context, and vivid in language, and his interpretation of such ideas as the new development stage is the key stage of national rejuvenation, the new development concept is the core concept of national rejuvenation, and the new development paradigm is the scientific path of national rejuvenation, in particular, was of great practical significance for the college to implement the new development concept and promote the high-quality development of various undertakings.
