On April 17, Song Douzhen and his delegation from the International Department of the Catholic University of Daegu, Zhu Hongwei, Deputy Secretary-General of Henan Administration Society, Yang Jun, Director of China Education Think Tank Network Center of Ministry of Education, and Yan Xia, Executive Director of Henan Litu Education, visited our College for investigation and exchange. President Liu Yuan, Vice President Dou Ruimu, Vice President Men Baoquan, and heads of relevant departments and secondary schools attended the discussion and exchange meeting in the conference room of the Academic Exchange Center. The meeting was presided over by Dou Ruimu.

Liu Yuan welcomed Song Douzhen and his delegation from afar, and introduced the basic situation of the development of the College to the members of the delegation, focusing on the specialized majors of our College and the international exchanges and cooperation of our College in recent years. He expressed his hope to cooperate with the Catholic University of Daegu and watched the promotional video of the College together with the delegation.

The Catholic University of Daegu played its Chinese promotional video. Song Douzhen introduced the basic situation of the Catholic University of Daegu and the conditions of learning, residence and practical training for international students in the International College, and focused on the enrollment policies and preferential conditions for Chinese students. He welcomed the teachers and students of our College to go to Korea for visits, exchanges and study.

Later, the delegation had in-depth exchanges with the heads of the Office of Academic Affairs, Scientific Research Foreign Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, School of Horticulture and Gardening and School of Food Engineering on cooperation in education programs, upgrading of teachers, students’ overseas study, scientific research cooperation and co-construction of colleges. The two sides indicated that there is great room for cooperation between the two universities, and they will make a cooperation plan in the next step, hoping to have a successful cooperation.
