On the evening of September 6, the launch ceremony of “Outstanding Henan People” the Most Beautiful Teacher in 2022 was held in Zhengzhou. Ms. Zhi Lihong from our school won the title of "Outstanding Henan People” the Most Beautiful Teacher in 2022.

The award speech says “Lay the foundation from the grass-root level, write papers on the ground; pay attention to practice and actual effect, focus the research in fields and ridges. You come from the city but live in the countryside. You work in the flower fields, and villagers appreciate your amiableness; you make a great contribution to the rural revitalization cause by making plans, giving professional lectures and providing guidance. You are the “Outstanding Henan People” the Most Beautiful Teacher in 2022-Zhi Lihong.” This is the greatest affirmation of Ms. Zhi Lihong.

In the past 30 years of teaching, Zhi Lihong has presided over many research projects leading the reform, innovation and development of vocational education and teaching, and formed educational and teaching achievements with certain replication and promotion values. During holidays and busy farming seasons, she is often busy running about the fields to "fight" with farmers, providing targeted technical guidance on fruit tree and flower management, and discussing industrial development plans with villagers. She does move classrooms to the fields and sends technology to villagers' homes.

For more than a decade, she has traveled to 158 horticultural enterprises around Luoyang City and 28 leading horticultural enterprises in the province, and her service area has also expanded to Hebei, Shandong, Hubei and other provinces; she has served as a technical consultant for more than 30 horticultural enterprises, guiding enterprises to cultivate new varieties, improve production methods, and innovate technology, successfully localizing the planting of fresh cut flower varieties of foreign peony, and increasing the profits of enterprises by 30%.

Zhi Lihong has been awarded the title of Outstanding Teacher of the National High-Level Talents Special Support Program, expert of vocational education in Henan Province and Outstanding Teacher of vocational education in Henan Province.
