The School is located in Zhongmou County, Zhengzhou, covering an area of 1418 mu (currently divided into five campuses). The new campus of 1300 mu has completed land acquisition and other preliminary work and is listed in the provincial key construction projects, with a building area of 520,000 square meters, training equipment worth a total value of 135.13 million yuan, the library collection of more than 1 million books. There are 939 teaching and administrative staff, including 32 professors, 161 associate professors, and 282 teachers with doctoral and master degrees. The School employs 490 part-time external teachers. There are 5 teaching masters and experts who enjoy the state council special allowance, and who are national model teachers, national teaching masters of agricultural vocational education, 25 experts who enjoy special allowance from the provincial government, provincial vocational education experts, provincial teaching masters, and provincial academic and technical leaders, six provincial teaching teams, one provincial vocational education master's workshop, and one provincial Huang Danian-style teaching team. Teachers have received a total of 338 awards for teaching and research achievements, including the first prize of National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, and the first prize for provincial achievements. The school has 10 secondary schools, namely the School of Agricultural Engineering, the School of Horticulture and Gardening, the School of Animal Husbandry Engineering, the School of Food Engineering, the School of Information Engineering, the School of Economics and Trade, the School of Finance and Accounting, the School of Electromechanical Engineering, the School of Tourism Management, and the School of Humanities and Education. The college now offers 61 full-time senior vocational programs, including 2 majors supported by the central government to enhance the professional service industry development capacity of higher vocational schools, 5 key majors of national backbone construction, 7 provincial-level featured majors; in terms of curriculum development and construction, we have 2 national and 4 provincial high-quality resources shared courses; in terms of building of training bases, we have built 2 national and 3 provincial demonstrative training bases and 5 provincial comprehensive reform pilot majors. There are 19200 students at school.
